I've got a #Kinesis #Advantage2LF #keyboard. I switched PCB to the #kinT alternative using a #Teensy controller in 2021-02 to get #QMK firmware:

Since a few weeks, I face issues: ESC switched its position with the ` character. I "fixed" that by swapping […]

no idea if this would work but it would be very cool to get a bluetooth-enabled qmk keyboard's usb controller to switch to host mode so you could plug in a mouse and have the keyboard forward it over bluetooth

Unsure if I've even mentioned this anywhere before,

but I've maintain a "Steam Curator" page for the last few years, keeping a log of how well games handle custom keyboard layouts - feel free to follow it if you want to see a note on Steam Store pages telling you whether a game's keybind […]

Dear #askFedi,

do you have a copy of the #40percentclub Git?

I've tried porting #Vial for #Gherkin, but messed up the layout naïvely thinking it was a 3×10 matrix and I would like to look at the schematics to prepare a #KLE layout.

(Also this somehow messed up the further layers with the […]

This is a screenshot of the VIA software showing layer 1 of my Ploopy mouse. The 2 side buttons are set to the Home and End keys. Secondary left button is again set to Macro 0, which is "control + up arrow". Left button is set to Macro 1, which is "command + c" to copy, and right button is set to Macro 2, which is "command + v" to paste. Middle button and DPI change button are left unassigned.

My #Ploopy mouse uses #QMK or #VIA to program its buttons. Which means I can do funky things like have layers, complex macros, all without overly heavyweight "driver" ad software like #logitech or #razor

Such a great feature that no other mice have (that I know of)

For anyone else that uses #qmk firmware for their keyboards; I highly recommend using sparse checkout when developing to get rid of some kruft

Halfway through implementing an accent layer in my #qmk layout only to find out that if you long press a letter in Mac it gives you all the accent options. Sigh.
