Me personally? No. I like the first Friday at 5 #scriptchat thing. But maybe it’s okay to also have a weekly Sunday #scriptsocial event that takes place after the weekly Twitter #scriptchat? Or maybe one replaces the other?

Stories aren't simple, they're complex machines and we need to design every cog. Even when we think we can see the entire machine completed and working before we start (and some people even can), your time and energy is limited and that requires selective focus. #scriptsocial #scriptsky #scriptchat
It's so easy to get lost in the weeds, and we're also indulgent dreamers. It sounds like tough love or limiting in some way to insist on laser focusing and direct, small things but it's not. It's being deliberate with all that energy and focusing it. #scriptsocial #scriptsky #scriptchat
This is why I like the prompt list: no sitting there with the cloud of everything your project could be., just clear questions to answer. And sometimes answers won't come easily, the whole session could end in nothing, it happens. But you've got a clear path. But you have focus.

At AFF I chatted with a crew member who worked on verticals. His advice: "Forget everything you know about writing well."
Thankfully I never learned how to write well so I'm ahead of the game.
But if no-one expects much from a format then it's ripe for something special.
