“You don’t like this game.” His dear Mr Hat Guy directly accused, in almost a whisper, as Cyno swiftly ran to go and fetch the cards. Sethos made a mental note to keep poking him into giving a proper name, because damn if it was kind of silly, becoming head over heels for a man he could only call by what couldn’t more clearly be the most efficient nickname that could be given to him and nothing more. Then, he simply smiled and shrugged; what else to say, except for the truth? “Oh, no, I like it. It’s playing against Cyno what makes it a nightmare.” Was his own response, not bothering to keep his voice down. After all, Sethos had learned rather fast, everyone else at their table shared the same opinion. “Precisely.” Al-Haitham was the first to confirm it. “Damn right.” Kaveh followed suit. “You have no idea.” Tighnari then added, letting out a deep sigh. “But you will soon enough.”
“See? Even his husband dreads it.” Then there came another shrug, and shortly after Sethos earned himself a frown of somewhat confusion-- which was adorable as hell, by the way. “Then, why do you keep dragging me to join?” Well, fair enough. And, again, the question was going to be answered with nothing but the truth. “Easy, I like you.” His admission, his confession, being met by a scoff… ah, that didn’t discourage him in the slightest. Not when there was more in his hopefully soon-to-be boyfriend’s reaction than that: an expression that made him seem like a stray kitten who had been kicked and abandoned in the past, but was slowly relearning to accept affection. Little did he know such a comparison wasn’t that far-fetched.
