The idea of severing ties with the Greater Will and allowing people the chance to make their own choices is so important. It does mean unfortunately Robin has to leave with Ranni, but it's (partly) why later in the journey Robin is so determined to revive Rogier, so they wouldn't be alone.
Ask: If Soul were to pick an ending, what kinda Elden Lord would they become?
Hmmm, maybe I'm bias and it's the ending I typically go for, but it would be the Age of Stars ending.
