The only way, “Celeborn was in Sauron’s torture dungeon this entire time,” is interesting to me is if it involved Sauron regularly popping back to drive that Elf to the point of insanity, and seeing as TROP Sauron would probably forget if he left the stove on… the odds are not good.

Sauron reportedly returning to Khazad-dum is surprising, given he's already given the Rings to the Dwarves, and Durin's Ring remained with his heirs until the Dark Lord captured Thrain, Thorin's father. But we know he recovered many of those Rings at some point, so yeah. I do enjoy Durin's enmity with Annatar, so that'll be fun at least, but hoo boy is Sauron gonna be going places this season.

The site said Galadriel and Arondir will be accompanied by an Orc, whom I presume is going to lead them to Celeborn. I'm glad they're allegedly not giving up on exploring Orcs' humanity, and how they're not always on board with their leaders, but I think it's going to wind up being heartbreaking, because Payne and McKay said the creation of the One Ring is what will end the Orcs' free will. Oh boy...

Yes! I was a bit worried that the show might let that die with Adar since it’s maybe more philosophically challenging to write, but I’m glad they’re still rolling with it (assuming it doesn’t end in some trap or ambush situation ofc).

Was really pulling for something like this because it makes a LOT more sense than Saruman. I know they're loose with the lore, but I couldn't really vibe with Dark!Saruman prior to the War of the Ring. #TROPspoilers

Ooooh... "Pallando" is one of the names I don't think they originally had the rights to. So this was probably another Annatar situation where the Estate granted them special permission to use it.
The blue on the Gaudrim's armour & horses was a bit of a hint he would be a Blue Istar.
