Collage-style image: Left: A muscular man in a gym performs a heavy trap bar deadlift, holding a loaded bar with large weight plates. He wears a black tank top and red shorts. Text overlay reads “315 lbs trap bar.” Top right: A whiteboard with handwritten notes, including “MINDSET” and a message about injury being a temporary setback. Bottom right: Two charts—one showing body weight changes over 5 days (around 303–314 lbs), and another showing muscle percentage (around 38–39%).
I look & feel bloated, but this is the most I've deadlifted since early-mid Feb. I'm proud of myself for not giving up, for keeping on in spite of the ennui from a reduced workout. While I may not be ready for the Glizzies competition this year, I'll be a beat at it next year. #thistooshallpass
