Bonus lizard! I'm so happy to see a predator in the yard. When we moved in at the end of last summer, the only living things in the yard were flies. I left the leaves as mulch in all our beds this last fall, and it is already paying off. We are seeing WAY more variety in insects, birds, and lizards. A small lizard with brown and black markings sits at the bottom of a French drain gutter.
