In case anyone is looking to understand what marriage truly is like, I believe that my husbands proposal surmises it perfectly, in my opinion. I'll let you be the judge... To propose, my husband was bounding around the Peace Light at sunset, climbing, leaping, and just being silly. He took a literal leap and went down. I ran up thinking he injured himself, but was down on a knee with a diamond ring. That moment sums up the entirety of our marriage to date. ____________________________ With Valentine's Day right around the corner and the anniversary of Don and my first date both falling in February, I wanted to acknowledge the silly and wonderful love that the two of us share in my own personal way. AKA: In an EXTREMELY wordy fashion. (You might as well make yourself comfortable... ๐) They say that behind every great man is a great woman. So, honey, I just wanted to let you know I'm always right behind you... judging your every move. (You knew what you were getting yourself into when you proposed.๐คฃ) In all seriousness, I vowed to always support you. I promised to always be your navigator, as long as you'd actually listen to the directions I give you when we're driving. I promise to be your partner in crime, so long as we don't get caught.
