This is what the aurora borealis look like with a certain amount of light pollution. In the village I live in, the bright streetlights make it hard to see the vivid glow of the aurora. Usually to see them well I go for about a 10 minute drive out of town. They are still lovely as heck.

The aurora came out again last night. I was in town, so the light pollution was a bit tricky in terms of getting a picture, but the northern lights are an incredible sight no matter what. Love you. #auroraborealis #northernlights #yukonterritory
