DCRC Lore: After the F&A’s closure in 1964, the line’s sole 4-8-4 was put off to the side and, for unknown reasons, put into a shed near the now abandoned F&A’s engine shops in Fellwood. It was long since believed to have been scrapped until it was rediscovered in 1989.
