is of a #prickleback - a long and eel-like, monkeyface and pricklebacks sport a bluntly rounded snout, large fleshy lips and two black lines that radiate from behind their eyes. They have a dorsal fin that runs along the pricklebacks' backs and a lumpy ridge appears on adult monkeyface pricklebacks' heads.

Brian is a masters student in the Conservation Science program in FWCB. He worked in the lab as a undergraduate researcher focused on dentition wear in prickleback fishes and is now changing gears to work on morphology of fishes in the Esocidae family.
