That was pretty good, it’s hard sometimes to dramatise something based on real life cases without it appearing to be titillation. I thought it did a good job and respected the victims.
Movie I think next Saturday on BBC4, have to see what’s on after that.

Reminded me of the focus and tone of the Danish drama #TheInvestigation which was a milestone in how real life cases are dramatised. #TheBlackForestMurders was inspired by real cases though details were changed more.

Closing scenes feel like they are hoping for a season 2. I hope so, too. Found that very engaging and satisfying in its rejection of crime drama clichés. Bravo to all involved.
