The Artemis II landing occurred live during an episode of Jesse Watters Primetime. Watters had a lot to say about it - WOW, everything flew around the pod, it's a bouncy castle, China needs a parking space on the moon, it looks like R2-D2, it must smell bad.
I shouldn’t be surprised by this but I’m earnestly depressed learning about how the Artemis missions going forward are all about integrating with Space X and Blue Origin. Really just feels like the Artemis II hopecore was generated to be co-opted by capitalists.
I recently blocked some long time friends here. I cannot take their relentless dooming day in and day out, even if sometimes I've enjoyed our conversations. It's not good for my mental health, and these days we need to guard it.
