Cautiously excited by the DragonBall Xenoverse 3 announcement trailer. Just hoping for an even deeper character creation system and hopefully a less pointlessly grindy experience.
I'm not sure it's even hot. It's usually mistranslated as "fireball" but the literal translation is something like "surge fist". I imagine it must be like a very hard and quick burst of pressured air.
dragon-in-a-fez on tumblr: "keep thinking about how I wrote in my dissertation about how every time a new form of public/social space emerges it's immediately popular with kids and teenagers who see it as a chance at freedom and then adults colonise it and kick them out. this happened with malls in the 80s and diners in the 50s and pool halls in the 20s. my dad was doing research on this trend in like 1975. and I was like "yeah so this is going to happen to the internet" and then five years later every government suddenly decided to ban kids from everywhere online. I hate being right especially when I don't even get paid for it"
💗🤝💕✌️
I don't want to shoot videos
I don't want to post tutorials
I don't want to show my process
I don't want to pour varnish
I don't want to turn my canvas
I don't want to record my screen
I don't want to cultivate parasocial relationships
I just want to make pictures and shitpost
Have you showered with a bat? Because I just did.
Maybe they secretly go really well together. Only one way to find out.
I really love working on games but I kinda miss working on animation. The linear nature of it is a nice change of pace.
Anyone got an animated thing that needs sound and/or music?
Last big thing I worked on:

It's The Muppet Show with our very special guest star Ford Prefect!

S screenshot from Hala's Chuffed page, it reads: At the same time, I face a significant financial barrier. The annual tuition fee is around £33,000, and with the new UK visa guidelines requiring £15,000 in maintenance funds per year, the total amount for my four-year course is expected to be around £192,000. Covering these costs of tuition and living expenses on my own is simply impossible. While I am actively seeking highly competitive scholarship opportunities, the ongoing challenges in Gaza make these prospects even more limited. However, after speaking with the management at the University of Glasgow, a volunteer group called GAZA40+ has assured me that if I can show maintenance funds of around £50,000, the university will waive my tuition fees entirely.
A good friend of mine has been kind of pen pals with a brilliant Gazan girl named Hala for a while. She's been studying robotics amid Israel's onslaught and got an opportunity to go to Glasgow University to continue her career, but needs help to cover some costs:

We may have Cow, but we need the Poomp.
What ever happened to the little "Poomp!", "Boing!" and "VVVEEEEEE" signs coming out of Mario Kart vehicles?
There's a reason why great comics have historically avoided punching down. Because it doesn't stay in the comedy club. It inevitable filters out into society to cause actual harm to the communities they're targeting.
People say we can't compare this to the Third Reich because of the atrocities but we only found out about the atrocities after the fact when it was all said and done and we're not done with this yet so I am sure the worst stomach churning shit has yet to be revealed.
v2_b but it's newer than v3, and there's a folder named "new" that holds the actual final files.
I need a game where farming aura is an actual mechanic.
Matt Walsh @MattWalshBlog A weird thing is that whenever I post criticism of Al, the majority of the people agreeing with me seem to be leftists. It's pretty much the only position I hold that seems to be more popular with the left than the right. It should be the opposite. My whole point about Al (especially Al in creative fields) is that it isn't human, it doesn't have a soul, and we cannot surrender our society to an unhuman soulless algorithm even if it makes our lives easier in some ways. It's very strange that an argument predicated on the existence of the soul resonates with the left while conservatives tend to scoff at it. 3:02 PM • Mar 12, 2026 • 748.5K Views
"for unknown reasons, my mortal enemies appear to be concerned with the core essence of humanity in a way that my allies are not. oh well, better not think about it too hard."
This is Sadie. She was finally reunited with her human, astronaut Christina Koch, after her mom’s voyage around the moon took her the furthest any human has ever been from their dog. She can't wait to hear all about the universe. 14/10 (IG: astro_christina)
And hip-shaking!

“this album just came and went”
“remember this month old game?”
PLEASE. let art live and exist!! forever!! what a miserable way to live, to bounce from new thing to new thing, rapidly consuming art as trends and not allowing yourself to fully experience a story and reflect on it as it settles
One of the few N64 era games that still looks and feels exactly how I remember it.
