Traversing between decks on the USS Hornet is done via stairs. Note that these stairs have a shorter run for their rise over run, meaning the steps are close to being atop each other.

The hangar deck where the Apollo exhibits, Registration, Main Stage, etc are is ADA accessible.

Save the date! Galactic Camp will be returning May 28th-31st, 2026 + as a one night Gala this Nov 22, 2025.

Staff applications are now open too! As a staff member you get to stay on the ship 3 nights during the con plus 2 nights at our staff planning retreat this Nov.

This is our lost and found as of this morning. If anything of yours please come by the security desk at the USS Hornet and claim your items in the next two weeks. Or call the museum to make arrangements. They are open weekends but sometimes have staff there Monday-Friday too.

The flight over Galactic Camp this morning!

Last night at #GalacticCamp out on the fantail patio with views of SF. It was chilly out there, but the last of the furs stayed out till 3am well after the bar closed. What a year. This was a fantastic con!

This is the color blind panel going on now in the Officer’s Ward Room of the USS Hornet. You get to paint under yellow sodium light which is how those with color deficiencies experience painting.
