yeah pretty much all of that haha. said i’ll have one for a few days, ideally they wanted to do it ASAP, but I have a hawaii trip tomorrow and they said it should be fine to do after

tldr: bad meds reaction after a break, am totally ok, I don't regret getting checked out for it

was considering ditching my adhd meds and uhhh I think this locks in that decision. I feel like they help with a 9-5, but I'm not doing that right now. I have a lower general stress level without them and am still getting a lot of stuff done, just more randomly-ordered. will chat with doc tho!

felt like a moment where I had too much caffeine, but more. I had coffee ~5hr earlier, but nothing when it occurred. shaky limbs, light-headed, general chest pressure, out of the blue.

anyway I'm healthy as can be, but returning after vacation for a temporary heart monitor just to be sure.

the feeling left on its own, mostly, after 20-25 mins, and ekg/xray/etc all said fine. so that's good. what was wild to me was the rather intense reaction to my adhd meds *thirty hours* after I had taken them, but doc said it's possible.

particularly since I hadn't taken them for ~2 weeks prior.

[am ok, don't panic]

so yesterday was an adventure. the day before I had taken adhd meds, felt fine, but yesterday out of the blue my heart started doing fucky things. not knowing what a heat attack felt like (it wasn't that), called emergency services. they confirmed afib and took me to hospital.

but I keep getting distracted by the amazing shots in these. are you bringing your own lighting along because goddamn it works
