Private companies that sign contracts to deliver public services and then fail to do so should never be allowed to pay dividends to shareholders. A shareholder is a company owner. A company owner who takes public money, doesn't deliver, but takes profit, should be prosecuted.

It is scary that an anti racist march can overrun our capital with with 2 - 3x as people as the Unite the Kingdom nonsense, but a fraction of the news coverage. There is a war going on now and that is a big story, true. But there was a war going on then too. Do they need to piss on some monuments?

People will wax poetic about the library that gave THEM freedom and go on to undercut today’s libraries, not recognizing that the library they’re nostalgic for was fought for tooth and nail by marginalized folks.

It's amazing what a good case study Jeffrey Epstein is into why one person having billions of pounds is automatically a bad thing.

I am once again reminding you all that the UK government introduced an Online Safety Act that is effectively a porn ban on most adult porn websites, but is dithering over banning a website that is actually creating child porn.

We don’t have a problem with immigration in this country. We have a problem with racists.

I have banged this drum for far too long, but there really is a simple solution: Social media sites should be held to the exact same media law as newspapers and magazines.

The law ALREADY EXISTS. It just needs enforcing.
