I was reading JJK modulo and did they just create Xenogears' Zohar??

That DLC has a cutscene that makes me cry every single time I watch it, no other scene in the Xeno series makes me cry consistently.
I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THAT DLC, it's such a good expansion ;-;
Been on a very Torna the Golden Country mood lately
It's crazy that we haven't seen ANYTHING from the Upper Domain in all the Xeno games. We have the Wave Existence and U-DO but that's it
Imagine if we ever get to see what or who else lives in the Upper Domain. Krelian crumbs in 2025 pleasee 🙏
As for how he or the XS cast would've managed to save the universe in Lost Jerusalem? Idk I need Monolithsoft to drop the next game RIGHT NOW PLEASEEEE
Maybe they'll just give the Gnosis some therapy sessions to deal with their repressed emotions of dissatisfaction and that will balance the universe
That would imply Alpha also tried to stop the universe's eventual dissipation, just as much as Nephilim, Abel, Mary and chaos. Though he would've achieved it in a much more radical way, tearing two worlds apart to meet ends with his objective.
Alpha also has some control over the Fog Beasts, which are somewhat similar to Gnosis (Shulk has to literally create the Hilbert Effect to deal with them)
Maybe Alpha commanded the Gnosis/Fog Beasts to destroy the old world and restore Lost Jerusalem in his own way with the people of the City
Maybe Alpha saw a way in that connection. After all, Nephilim, a being that exists solely in the Imaginary Number Domain, guides the Gnosis to Lost Jerusalem in the end of XS3
Since XCX established that Gnosis and the Imaginary Number Domain from Xenosaga are a thing in the Blade series, my guess would be that Alpha knew the universe's demise.
Maybe people that aren't tied to Origin are able to reach the Imaginary Number Domain instead of going back to Origin after death
I'm sure a lot would've agreed with Alpha's promise, especially since there's so many people that could go through a similar path as Na'el in all of XC3 and the old City.
Alpha must have needed them for something more important, something that required not being tied to Origin
[Ok and spoilers from now on because I'm going crazy again]
But why did Alpha specifically needed people from the City?
I get he wanted people that weren't tied to Origin, but why is that so important for it to be a condition for the new world?
Still thinking about that one Future Redeemed scene with the radio.
I ONLY FINISHED XENOSAGA LIKE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THAT.
I WASN'T READY.
I love this franchise so much because the second they namedropped HIM I was JUMPING.
I really hope Shion makes sure she adds an alarm clock to KOS-MOS on her Ver.5 upgrade on Xenoblade 4 because IT'S BEEN ALMOST 20 YEARS AND SHE'S STILL SLEEPING
GIRL WAKE UP
THE GNOSIS WENT TO A WHOLE DIFFERENT PLANET AND YOU'RE SLEEPINGGG
another quick billy sketch i did in october
I've been obsessing over that little argument for such a long time, it comes to my mind pretty often at times. That's one of the reasons why I love XC3 so much, it just leaves me lost in my thoughts on the game for hours
Ok that's it. It's super late and I have work tomorrow.
I swear I'm normal.
And again, the whole smile thing is just a little detail that's present in the whole game in some way, even Ethel, Cammuravi, Shulk, Rex, and so many unnamed soldiers who died believing their deaths were as they wanted.
It connects so well with Noah and with the world in which they live
No side is perfect, the Moebius' way and the City's way satisfy everyone, Shania is an example of this. I would've loved to see more people being against of Ouroboros by the end of the game, it would've been so good to see an actual clash of ideologies at play, even from people outside Moebius.
That's why I can't hate Shania. She did awful things, but she was born and raised to maintain expectatives, losing all those who once supported her, and even disregarding her true passions, she was powerless. In Moebius she saw an opportunity, a choice that would let her triumph as she wanted
That's why it's so heart breaking, knowing this world won't give you any choices. Z promised a life where everyone gets the chance to shine as soldiers at least once, and yet you aren't allowed to shine as anything else but a soldier. All for their own benefit, to reap their cultivated soldier lifes
But even if they managed to find a way to rebel against the forced path that has been laid for them, it's still a choice that costs them their lives.
There isn't any way in Aionios to find this fulfillment in life, the system won't allow it. And even if there were, in just 10 years it's impossible.
But it's cruel, it's such a heart wrenching feeling to know they could aspire to be only so much. Joran, Crys, Mio and even Shania came to terms with their deaths because they CHOSE that path without trembling upon it, it was their fight against a system they didn't want.
However, that's only the perspective of someone who looks at the one who's dying, Noah's perspective.
In truth, those smiles meant fulfillment. Those people were happy with how things ended, even in those short ten years. Some were even happy just by saving other loved ones in their last moments.
That act of smiling upon death has haunted Noah for most of his short lifespan. He was so intrigued by it, that he even became an Offseer.
At first he says he thought those people were smiling at their friends, trying to cheer them up even in front of a loved one's death
He has his reasons to despise people like Moebius. He himself had to go through countless deaths of his allies, even more if you count past cycles. And in some of those deaths, we see people giving up their lives in the way they want, leaving the world with a smile.
Having to live in a world where you aren't allowed to make any major decisions for yourself, inserted in a system that benefits from your own limitations couldn't be any more disgusting. And that only serves as fuel for Noah, even before becoming Ouroboros
Ever since I played XC3, there has been something itching my brain, more than anything else in the rest of the game, and that's what smiles mean for Noah.
It's just a little detail to deepen the connection Noah has with death as an Offseer, but I find the meaning behind it to be very tragic
For a few years I've been debating wether I prefer Xenoblade 3 or Xenoblade 1.
The first game was like, my whole personality for years, and even if I think 3 has a lot of flaws, I think I've come to appreciate it more and more with time.
Spoilers for XC3 in the rest of the thread‼️‼️
Holy crap I just read all I posted
OK that's the end of it.
Omg I'm sure it seems like I've lost it but I swear I'm just very passionate about this 20+ years story made by Takahashi and Soraya Saga 😭
If I remember these rambles tomorrow I'll post something about XC3 that has been itching my brain for far too long lol
That way, this headcanon could explain why KOS-MOS is a Blade in XC2. They wouldn't be very vital to the overall plot, I want Klaus and Galea to have much more important roles in this story. Wilhelm and chaos would be recurring characters in all of this too.
