Oh, yeah. I've not implemented it yet but my idea is that the events that started but did not end after the animation stops will emit the ended signal.
The animation maintainer blocked the event tracks feature though so it won't be available unless they change their opinion.

Welp, the Godot's animation maintainer doesn't think that event tracks are useful or needed 🥲 and they don't think they can be merged.
I tried to explain what advantages they bring against other track types but they say these advantages can be workaround...
I guess UX is not a focus 🤷
