When planning began, it was hard to imagine exactly how it would all come together — but thanks to this team and to all of you who attended, everything ran smoothly. We hope everyone left with insightful knowledge, lovely friendships, and unforgettable memories from Oregon 🫶🏻

We also had 25 amazing volunteers whose help made everything possible, though I can’t list them all here. Special thanks go to Linda Smith, for handling much of the administrative work, and a big shout-out to Volya Kapatsinski, Kaori Idemaru, and Spike Gildea for all the behind-the-scenes work 😎

We began organizing in the spring of 2024, and the Institute has truly been a team effort. Even though some couldn’t attend, our PhD students contributed from early on: Dakota Whisler worked on merch design and initial social media, and Nadia Clement designed the Institute poster 🤩
