The sky is magnificent, but those waves sound angry!

Haven't timed it properly but I'm thinking about 7....π
Blossoms on an apple tree against a blue sky.
Another view of the apple blossom.
#3goodthings
1. Apple tree full of blossom.
2. Finished a speech I'd been working on. #phew
3. A phone chat with my agent. Sorted out a few things for the next story. ππ
That's wonderful Gill - about time you got a bit of good news. All fingers crossed that it'll go swimmingly. X
Sounds pretty ambitious to me! ππ
Never happen. When Sandy Hook didn't change anything, that was clear.
My favourite city. Could have sat by the Trevi fountain all day (if the pesky tourists had all left).
He sounds like such a breath of fresh air.
Take a moment to look.

Not mine, bought in supermarket. But my mother says the country lore was always that a good gardener would have rhubarb ready by St Patrick's Day.

I have a soft spot for them.
Forgot the rhubarb snap.
Forgot the rhubarb snap.

1. Bluesky day. Yes. πππππ

Spanish Point beach on a sunny-cloudy day.
Roadside colour. Purple blooms, don't know name.
Sign that says "Please leave nothing but your footprints".
Virgin crossword and pen on a garden table, next to a glass of red for inspiration.
#3goodthings
1. A walk to the sea. Some sun, some cloud, and no water falling from the sky.
2. Saw my first 2026 bee today. He'd bumbled into the greenhouse and was buzzing crossly at the glass. Too mobile for a snap. Opened the window and out he went.
3. Crossword and red on the patio.
Sorry, today was too busy for snaps for my #3goodthings, but I did get to
1. Meet up with lovely pals in Listowel (who introduced me to new pals),
2. See an old friend to her final resting place, and
3. Meet another old friend on my way back to West Clare.
Since 2026 began, I think that's only the second time I could hang out the clothes.
Laundry on the line.
Cup with tea, detox tea. Box of wellbeing tea next to cup.
Bluebells by the roadside.
#3goodthings
1. Washing on the line in the sunshine.
2. A little detox, right before I polished off a croissant.
3. Bluebells on the walk. I think they're bluebells. I once walked through a forest in Guernsey that was carpeted with them. Felt like the goose girl.
And full of fun.
Thanks Sheila x
Thanks Sharon! X

Dud you meet her, Barb? I couldn't remember.
I presume they do - royalty statements are all lumped in together and I haven't the patience to go through them, but there would be some % from ebook sales.
Saddened yesterday to hear of the lovely Brenda's death. No trip to Listowel for Writers Week was complete without a visit to Woulfes bookshop, where Brenda would be waiting with a smile and a book recommendation. She'll be sadly missed. RIP Brenda, thanks for the laughs. X rip.ie/death-notice...
