As usual I’m taking it slow. My mage is now level 14, adventuring in Darkshore. No mage trainers in sight, though, so will be a little bit before I get my level 14 spells. Wish the night elves would relax on using arcane magic for little old me. #wowclassic #Warcraft
Also really liking an addon called AutoBiographer (another one I’ve not used before). It appeals to my super nerdy side to know how much gold I got from looting vs quests vs vendors. 🤓 #warcraft
I’m really enjoying my little mage in WoW Classic Classic. ☺️ I’m doing something I’ve not done before - using an addon called GuideLime to tell me what to do. I’m hoping it’ll help me through the tyranny of choice as you get into the high 20s and beyond where there’s no “correct” place to level.
Well, after saying all that I played some more mage tonight and had so much fun I’m thinking maybe I’ll go with mage after all! Tailoring/enchanting too cliché? 🙃
I enjoyed Druid a lot more than I was expecting to, Mage was great fun but there felt like a lot of sitting and drinking, Warrior was surprisingly the character that died way more than the others, so I think I’m settling on Warlock. Lots of fun, tools to help deal with over-pulling, and a pet too.
With us releasing fresh Classic realms tomorrow I’ve been thinking about what new class I want to play as. Paladin is out, as that’s my main in TWW (and was in Season of Discovery too), so over the last few days I’ve been leveling a bunch of characters to around level 10 to see what I fancy.
With the 20th anniversary of WoW and Warcraft’s 30th anniversary, I’m feeling very nostalgic about my time in this wonderful world. I fell in love with Warcraft 2 pretty much instantly, and after the incredible Warcraft 3 and The Frozen Throne expansion I knew WoW was going to be big.
