WARREN: That's not my question. Are you refusing to tell us if you have investments in vehicles set up by Jeffrey Epstein?
KEVIN WARSH: Those assets will be sold if I'm confirmed
(FT) - Lufthansa has cancelled 20,000 flights between May and October to save fuel, one of the largest cuts by global airlines as jet fuel prices double following the Iran war.

She then asks him to disclose HOW he will divest (e.g., will he just get a $100M check from his wealthy buddy who released a statement supporting his confirmation) and Warsh wouldn’t explain how he will divest these undisclosed assets
Warren does at one point single out Epstein, but the full question is nuts: Warsh didn’t disclose $100 million hidden behind entities he owns, so are any of those assets owned by the Trump family or the Chinese government, have any of them facilitated money laundering, any set up by Jeffrey Epstein?
Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

GALLEGO: Earlier today, you told Sec. Kennedy that Trump never demanded you to cut interest rates. Is that your sworn testimony?
WARSH: That is, senator.
GALLEGO: Okay. Well someone here is lying then. Because Trump confirmed he pressed you on interest rate cuts.
Warsh hearing so far has been kind of frustrating. No one has asked the questions that seem most relevant to me:
1) is Trump's criminal investigation into Powell appropriate?
2) what would you do if Trump threatened retribution against you if he didn't like your actions/Fed policy decisions?
WARSH: The broad contours of the economy are improving. The potential of the economy, the real results of the economy are improving.
TINA SMITH: The reality is there was almost 0 job growth in 2025. That looks to me like not a roaring economy, but a weak economy.
New: Peter and Lydia Brimelow of VDARE face discovery in the lawsuit issued by the NY AG.
This could expose the names of white nationalist donors and activists who’ve stayed in the shadows for years:

Tweet from Pete Hegseth: "The War Department is once again restoring freedom to our Joint Force. We are discarding the mandatory flu vaccine requirement, effective immediately."
In World War I more U.S. soldiers died of influenza than from combat. In America's first 145 years of war more soldiers and sailors died from infectious diseases than from enemy action. In every single war in human history more combatants have died of illness and disease than bullets and the blade.
Syracuse is currently 59th which is a nice ode to that National Champion football squad, but we're behind BC and Buffalo which is not a nice ode to anything but bad basketball losses in last decade

Finally dove into the peptides mania. The FDA is set to open up compounding of unproven peptides. What people actually need? Evidence they are safe and actually help. My latest for @opinion.bloomberg.com (🎁):

Jesse Watters has a long history of making misogynistic and sexually suggestive comments on air. His past year on Fox has been no different.
Beef prices just hit a record high. A pound of ground beef in many stores now costs more than the federal minimum hourly wage. These people are so out of touch it’s ridiculous.
Trump: I said, yeah, the Iran war is going to drive up the price of oil and whatever. But that's peanuts.
Trump on refunding proceeds from his illegal tariffs: "We're giving a lot of that money back to people that hate our country, so I'm not happy with the Supreme Court"
Trump: "The market's up. We're gonna be at 50,000. That's where we were just a little while ago, and when I hit 50,000 on the Dow, I said, ' I hate to do this to everybody, but I'm gonna have to journey down to a place called Iran.' You want to see a bad stock market? Try blowing up the Middle East"

It's a tribute to both InfoWars and The Onion that I just checked infowars dot com and legit have no idea if I'm looking at the authentic output of Alex Jones's brain or a mean parody of it. Please don't tell me, I don't want to know.
The Columbine massacre was on this date in 1999. Instead of energizing our country to get gun violence under control, it kicked off a new normal. One of the best explanations ever of journalism's destructive impact on mass shootings came from Roger Ebert in his review of Gus Van Sant’s “Elephant.”
The task of de-Trumpification of science and public health will take a generation and a "Marshall Plan" to rebuild. Without a bold, expansive vision to guide us, there is no coming back. Small-bore, poll-tested versions of the future will not help us. www.thenation.com/article/soci...
Sorry to be overly sincere for a second, but here's why we decided to persevere through all of the bullshit and take over InfoWars.
There's just gotta be a line somewhere.
Thank you @pablo.show for letting me talk so openly about this.
