Tomorrow is the end of the Virginia redistricting election. Have you voted yet?? If not, let me help: A YES vote is for stopping Republicans from controlling Congress, by leveling the nationwide playing field. And the Republican disinformation campaign, would have you believe otherwise.
Republicans want Virginians to think that the likes of President Obama and Governor Abigail Spanberger are against the referendum. They are trying to convince voters that Virginia is in a vacuum and unrelated to Texas and Missouri and North Carolina and Florida.
But it’s not in a vacuum. Texas, Missouri and North Carolina have already redistricted to further favor Republicans and Florida isn’t far behind. It’s not just about one state, it’s about the country. And the thing is, none of these Republicans states asked. They took. In legislative sessions and emergency hearings.
California and Virginia know it’s about the voters. The voters have to decide. It’s not happening in closed door meetings or hearings where people are ignored, it’s out in the open and public and up to voters.
Virginia, all eyes are on you! VOTE YES before polls close tomorrow!
