Finished some more Legion Heavy Support last night - we'll more like 99%. I still need to touch up a few details, but it's nice to have another unit off the painting table. I'm getting pretty close to closing out my Heresy-era marines...

Some more Ultramarines, who showed up late for #MarchforMacragge. It's OK - as Nemesis Destroyers they prefer to keep to themselves anyway. #warhammer40k #spacemarines #horusheresy
I'm digging the 90s color scheme myself.
Loving the colors, especially on the vehicles!
Back from a work trip and still keeping up with #MarchforMacragge, this time with some Horus Heresy quad launchers for my Ultramarines. One old version in resin and two of the newer plastics. I think they work together pretty well.

I do love the contrast, but I do fear you're right about the pumpkin vibes...
Still using #MarchforMacragge as motivation, this time for a Master of Signals for Horus Heresy. He got kitbashed rather than paying for the official model, but he's close enough. Now he just needs some backup...

They're not quite Ultramarines, but I decided to start #MarchforMacragge with the rest of my Novamarines Tactical Squad. These ones are some Black Reach models and a converted Melta Biker if I recall correctly...

So the new table is more Kill Team sized than full 40k, so I decided I needed some terrain. Chose the Hivestorm Volkus set and took a week to get them this far - assembled, based and washed. More to come as they get touched up.

Hey thanks for sharing your thoughts. The cape was a head-scratcher - I was originally going to go with red (which are standard for my Ultramarines' capes) but I decided to try something different. I'm still a bit torn on the results too...
Finished up a Novamarines Captain that I started this weekend. I'm not sure I need a Captain to lead half a Tactical Squad, but maybe he'll inspire me to paint more...

Agreed - this week can see free to burst into flame. ๐
Thanks! I've got a sampling of other Badab chapters that I'll probably post, but the Claws were my first of their kind.
No painting right now due to actual work, so I figured I'd get some of my old Badab work organized - first up are the Astral Claws. They were the first Badab chapter I worked on, to oppose friends' Red Scorpions and Carcharadons.

I stuck with the Ultramarines for a long time, until I ran across the Badab War, and ended up with a little bit of everything from Astral Claws to Fire Hawks...
First High Elf I've painted in some time - a Sea Guard Commander that I kitbashed (the head is from the Prince set, the spear is a mix of a standard and an Archer sword, and the quiver is also from the Achers). He's still on an old (8th Edition) base, like all my stuff.

Seems like your day is going well. ๐
More Lamenters for a snowy day - this time five more Tacticals to complete my squad. These ones are slightly more modern (for Firstborn) but they fit in fine. I even tried adding a few Maelstrom Warden sigil.

First painted miniatures of 2026 - the rest of the Lamenters Terminator Squad. It's nice to be back to painting checkerboard patterns, although my yellows are running low...

I'm glad you like it. The armored Survivor is also my Daanshala stand-in, FYI.
I still have plenty of Kingdom Death models waiting, but that's never stopped me from building more. This time it's a Black Friday purchase - The Lonely Tree! It's a cool model but I recommend a build guide. I also adjusted some limbs with green stuff to change how the fruit hangs.

Back to Kingdom Death - this time with some aspirational Survivors (a True Blade with the Black Sword and a Lantern Armor Tank) and another Nemesis - The Hand. Still sticking with the minimal colors, which I am really liking.

I suggest you hide under a pile of unpainted miniatures, like I plan to.
I needed some color after my Kingdom Death miniatures so I decided on some Badab War reinforcements - this time a Lamenters Terminator Sergeant. I love the Chapter but those shoulder pads are a hassle...

Another week's work of Kingdom Death - some more early game Survivors, a King's Man, and the Watcher. All in all fun times, although the assembly of the Watcher was a but fiddly... Next up I need some armored Survivors, and maybe The Hand.

Seems to me that you're tougher than you think. ๐
Back to painting with some Kingdom Death - some Survivors and their nemesis, The Butcher. I'm really enjoying the limited color scheme (and it's fairly quick too).

Still using the new table to play more games. It's too small for Kingdom Death, but it's perfect for Rise of the Orks. Like several of the Space Marine games I made my own versions of the Marines, as I thought they made more sense Deathwatch...

Still working out which games fit the new table. It's a little small for Space Hulk but was perfect for some Badab War-themed Betrayal at Calth with the Salamanders facing down the traitorous Astral Claws.

Been too busy with work to do much painting of late, but I am getting the gaming room organized at least. My current project is sorting out my long-buried Middle Earth CCG cards...
