Vercel's security breach started with malware disguised as Roblox cheats The attack, which originated at Context.ai, showcases the pitfalls of interconnected cloud applications and SaaS integrations with overly privileged permissions.

"Your Account is Suspended" Message on X

The CEO of Palantir posted a fascist manifesto on X.

I pointed out that it was fascist—which resulted in a permanent suspension from X (my second time!).

So, when you hear the tweeters complaining that BlueSky is intolerant, remember why many of us came here in the first place.

But this time, the outrage is nowhere to be found.
And everyone knows why.

Where's the outrage from @CNN @MSNBC @nytimes @AP??
The media were more upset at @elonmusk doing a hand gesture from his heart than they are at this

If Platner were a Republican, the media would already be in full meltdown mode. There would be cable news panels, screaming headlines, demands for apologies, and endless lectures about extremism, decency, and the supposed danger tacing the republic. Every liberal pundit in America would be falling over themselves to declare the gesture disqualifying.
Instead, the silence has been immediate and deliberate.
That silence matters, because it exposes the rot at the center of the modern media. The same press corps that turns every perceived offense by conservatives into a five-alarm national scandal suddenly loses its voice when the man on stage is someone they like, someone they want protected, someone standing shoulder to shoulder with Elizabeth Warren at a rally in Portland.
This is how the game works in America now.
The liberal media does not enforce standards. It enforces political loyalty.

No one in the Murrican regime can troll like this--which is part of what's wrong with it. A regime full of dumb doofuses does dumb stuff.

As we see. Daily. Hourly. Hell, by the second.

Five Trump Scandals You’ve Probably Missed Swirling scandals—from the Pentagon to DHS to the IRS to the Labor Department—that represent basic betrayals of public office, trust, and confidence-in-leadership that should be the table stakes of go...

Washington can only pay attention to a scandal or two at a time, which means in the Trump age there are all sorts of should-be-big-deal scandals that don’t get the oxygen or media focus that they should.

I'll bet you've missed at least three of these: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/five-trump...

Both sides of this are arguing over a fictional premise: that Harris lost because of votes withheld on the disgruntled left flank. The data's just not there to support that. There were of course some, mostly on Gaza. But not enough, on any credible estimate, to account for the margin of defeat.

Yeah, I would waaaay rather spend extra time at the airport than add anxiety about missing a flight, or need to rush.

As with everywhere I go, I bring a book. Time spent reading is never wasted.

My contention is this is no way to run a country. The existence of Clarence Thomas is right there a scathing indictment of alleging this Court does law.

I share Steve’s concerns. An observation:

The Court’s immense power, such as it is, is contingent upon its at least plausibly appearing to do law. This may seem like an academic debate, but it’s literally over whether the Court is doing law or something else. That matters.
