Corporations routinely damage property, steal wages and property, destroy ecosystems and human lives. All they get is a stern verbal condemnation, a small fine and another tax break.
Burning a warehouse down hurts but it ain't enough. We need real accountability for Corporations.

Generally it's never good to celebrate or excuse violence. However, when you consider violence against corporations that are responsible for the most amount of violence the recent actions against them can be justified.
When you think about corporate crimes against humanity, they are rarely punished
What was the thought you had? Just curious to how other people think.
How did you get that conclusion in your journey?
NC Dems need to do a better job in Rural America in general but especially rural parts outside of the city centers because they're more likely to vote for Dems.
How am I gonna walk to back how from Rainbow Tavern with all these cars hurling shells and shit at each other? I almost died last time.
Dems will help him.
A strongly worded dissenting opinion.
Primaries are for choosing the candidate you want. The general is for deciding who you want to fight. You want to fight the candidate that agrees with you the most.
Happy Valentines Day💘
To all the mini truck lovers out there ❤️
Real Progressives hate all money used to influence our nation.
I didn't say it was perfect but it's objectively doing better than most of the country when it comes to housing affordability. I don't think there's hardly anyone making minimum wage. Even McDonald's workers are making $15 here. Not enough, but the federal minimum wage isn't common.
You actually can. I live in the Charlotte Metro area. They're building a lot just to keep up with the growing demand. Our rents are amongst the lowest and most stable in the country. It's not just how much you build, but how you build. Density is key.
Are there viable alternatives?
Is a Fascist Regime better than a Neoliberal regime?
Is life better with Democrats in office or Republicans?
It's our job as Progressives at this point to have Progressive candidates available at every primary in 2026 and 2028. We need to be seen as doers. We need to be seen as the people that gets shit done so that we can dominate primaries and the general.
Pension? What's that? Lol
If I give someone instructions and they don't follow instructions, would it be accurate to say that my instructions don't work?
I don't know anything about Turkey.
I just found a fallacy that you're engaging in called the "Packaged Deal Fallacy." Just because someone, in this case Mosler, agrees with 1 thing, that means he agrees with everything they do. If that was the case, Mosler would be a Biden & Trump supporter.
You're being disingenuous. Mosley liked 1 thing they did. He did not co-sign the entire regime.
Again they didn't try MMT. In fact, they didn't even follow the directions of the World Bank. It doesn't matter what your system is, if you fuck you agriculture you're guaranteed to fail.
Luckily Im not doing that fallacy. Sri Lanka did not follow MMT. Just because Mosler liked 1 thing they did does mean he likes everything they did, nor does it make that thing they did MMT. Just because someone claims they're doing something doesn't mean they're actually doing it.
They destroyed their agricultural capacity by switching over to an organic system too fast instead of phasing it out. Their primary issue was really the fact that their leadership was a family government where the only way to get into the government is to be in the family or marry in.
Yes every nation has debt. Mosley praised them for cutting their foreign debt but if ny memory is correct they did start borrowing in foreign currency again. Regardless, if you actually understand MMT you would know it takes more than bad fiscal policy to fuck up an economy.
They didn't do MMT. I know they said they did. But they took debt from outside of their own currency. By definition of MMT they didn't do MMT. They even had conversations with Fadhel Kaboub and he said they didn't do anything he told them to do.
Who's doing MMT?
No, the Oligarchy is the problem. Traditional econ that only serves to move money to the top is the problem. MMT isn't even big enough to case any problems.
What is the "250" for?
Government shouldn't be in the business of making people wealthy. Government should be in the business of running society as equitably as possible. What we have now is a wealthy model thst funnels to the top. I don't know if we should have any policies that concerns itself with making people wealthy
I know what I'm gonna make next time I buy some Turkey Breasts.
Swapping energy sources is the easy part. What's hard is building the housing we need. Adding extras like ev charging station and solar panels to an affordable housing building is unnecessary and makes housing more expensive to build. Build the housing first, add the extras later.
