But yeah such is the way big corpos and their patents I guess.

I mean to be fair they tend to reuse design characteristics a lot in their pokemon- especially the eyes, which I think is fine lol. Adds uniformity imo. 👁️👁️ Pombon's eye design is present in a lot of pokemon now that I think about it. Swirlix, Rowlet, Fuecoco, Luvdisc, that gen 8 squirrel etc.

They give such same vibes it makes me appreciate Swirlix now lmao. I can imagine these two zooming around with their little beady eyes and tongues out. I love it!
