the app. At which point, I am simply met with this same screen again.
An error message from the ff14 fanfest app, saying, "Feature unavailable. Please try to update the app from the app store to access this feature." I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app multiple times, and each time, I am met with this same message.
This still isn't working. I made sure, without a shadow of a doubt, that the email I'm using is the same one I entered the lottery AND purchased the ticket with. My attempt to connect my ticket was met with this screen. Any follow-up attempt was met with a blank blue screen unless I reinstalled the
I'm also having trouble.
Much better.
Happy birthday, Mia!

My Final Fantasy XIV character, Jon Betal, recreated in Tomadachi Life Living the Dream. He is wearing a custom t-shirt, featuring my own pixel art of his paladin outfit from FFXIV.
It would have been a waste of the Palette House if I didn't put my pixel art of Jon on to a shirt and give it to him, right? #TomodachiLife
A picture of Tomodachi Life Living the dream, showing a shared home occupied by my Final Fantasy XIV character, Jon Betal, and Hugh Morris.
Jon becoming best friends with Hugh Morris and moving in together was certainly not on my bingo card. #Tomodachilife
Other than what he's been told by the other ancients, Jon doesn't know much aside from Azem's name, that being Chaos. A big part of Jon's post-Endwalker story is trying to piece together who Azem was, mostly by analyzing his past lives for commonalities, but this has only been somewhat successful.
Well, that turned out terrible. I already requested a refund and put in a new order with a different manufacturer. I really hope to have them in time for #fanfest, but it'll definitely be cutting it close.
Jon very much enjoys his private island as a place to relax, and he and Lyse often spend their free time there.

Kain, when he gets brainwashed again:
I give it 5 minutes before a fight breaks out. Not because of anything malicious, but just to see which one is stronger.

Holy shit, this is insanely cool!
As a note, the stickers will only be of the normal version. I did not order any for the CRT version.
My sticker design for fanfest wol trade. It is rectangular in shape, and imitates the menu from classic Final Fantasy games. It contains a sprite of my wol, Jon Betal, as well has listing his job (Paladin), as well as his current in game HP (261665), MP (10000), and Level (100).
An alternative version of my sticker design, featuring a CRT filter. All other details remain the same.
I was not aware of what Fanfest WOL Trade was until earlier this week, and once I knew, I had to throw something together. Hopefully the actual stickers will arrive on time, but here's the art I made for them.

Had this happen yesterday in fact. I wanted a SMN glam that was very draconic, since Bahamut is a major focus of the job and is very important to Jon's lore. I went all out when glam restrictions were lifted, but eventually scrapped it in favor of this new, more Yoshitaka Amano-inspired, glam.
didn't really hold up. So I dropped that part of Jon's lore. I do still headcanon that it happens in his non-wol au though.
and more glams for Jon, I realized I was making a lot of exceptions. He couldn't use a shield but a warrior's axe is fine? Glams were light on heavy metal, except for dark knight because... reasons? The injury wasn't adding much depth to Jon's character, and the reasons I had for coming up with it
I used headcanon that Jon suffered an injury to his left shoulder during the Calamity, and that it still gave him trouble years later. It was just a way to rationalize things like why he doesn't use a shield or why most of his glams don't have a lot of heavy metal. But as I kept coming up with more
What Jon loves most about Lyse is how she pushes him. Their relationship can be a bit competitive at times, and that pushes Jon to be the best he can be. Of course, the reverse is also true.

Happy birthday, @donald-deuce.bsky.social!
Chaos. It keeps with the Greek mythology naming that most ancients have, while also having some interesting implications for longtime Final Fantasy fans.
For Jon, it was his and Lyse's sparring match on the Statue of Rhalgr. Afterwards, they had a good long talk, and Jon started to realize that his feelings for Lyse were more than ju8st friendship. Although, he was going through a lot at the time, so he doesn't act on those feelings until much later.
The Bloody Banquet. Granted, the moment itself isn't that impactful to Jon anymore, since most of the friends he thought were dead ended up being fine. But it still marks the starting point of the downward spiral that is base Heavensward.
