For posterity’s sake, the Red River in Winnipeg crested for the season on Friday at 15.9 feet James.
The province did not have to operate the floodway.
The crest was forecast at 17.7 feet James but the cool weather last week mellowed that out.
The Red is now 14.0 feet James. Previous.
