With Metro's policy on ICE notifications expanding earlier this year to include shoplifting and other forms of theft, LVMPD sent nearly 2,700 notices to the agency in seven months. Since February, ICE has taken hundreds of people who were in Metro custody.

Broadacres will reopen Aug. 1, multiple vendors told @lasvegassun.bsky.social. They said management called them with the news.

The marketplace was previously closed amid ICE activity throughout the West, including at a SoCal swap meet with the same ownership.
