So thrilled to see this paper in print at PSPR—I propose a new theoretical model of self-protection motivation that reimagines how people might think, feel, and act when navigating self-threats. I enjoy this sort of theoretical work & excited to share it!

The postdoctoral project investigates how educational aspirations and mobility are experienced, challenged and realised among minority ethnic students in higher education, with a focus on the collective resources developed among the young people and possible changes in institutional norms. The project includes six months of ethnographic fieldwork in two higher education programmes that are popular among minority ethnic students, as well as interviews with the students and their families.

It turns out, I deleted the email after reporting it as phishing… thank you for bringing this to our attention!
I also got this, is it not spam or phishing? I am so afraid to click links in email these days, would be nice to go back to snail mail, tbh!
I assume when I post something publicly that it is available for LLMs, for better or worse.
Is there a consent form for you to participate?
Help my sons as we advocate for rare disease research. Until midnight, all donations will be doubled (up to $25,000) thanks to an anonymous family donor. With rare disease research and disability advocacy under threat, support matters especially now.

Oh I just realized, I deleted my twitter where I had saved a thread from @lindaskitka.bsky.social, it was excellent advice.
I have heard some keep these cut outs in a lab notebook, along with a record of each decision. I cut and paste at the end of documents or into comments, but this sometimes loses context. Still, it helps with letting go.
I think the advice to read your work out loud is helpful generally.
Also, I read this book a few years ago and loved it, it’s probably one of the more useful and enjoyable books about writing I’ve read.

I love em dashes—they frequently help me provide context, alternatives, or emphasis. Likely, large language models use em dashes because of their popularity in training corps. Nonetheless, they are often over used, and LLMs may not know how people truly feel about their training corps….
Congratulations!!!!

I've joined up here to help get the word out about an important election in Wisconsin tomorrow, and other ways to defend our democracy against those who think votes can be bought.
I am looking for code that someone wrote to obtain a frequency count of these words, to share with a colleague. I used it but forgot to save the code… anyone have any idea?
