The Millionaires Tax is now law—this is what it looks like when working people stand together & demand fairness. We’re investing in our communities—not giving handouts to the ultra-rich.
We’ll keep organizing, protecting public services, & making sure the wealthy pay their fair share. #wapol

When the ultra rich are so greedy working people can't afford to order lunch... #taxtherich #defundbillionaires
Women have always been the backbone of the labor movement—fighting not just for today, but for a future where workers thrive.
We honor that legacy by building sustainable power and pushing back against efforts to silence women and undo our progress.
#WomensHistoryMonth
This #WomensHistoryMonth, we uplift women whose expertise isn’t optional — it’s essential.
In a moment when women’s voices are questioned, sidelined, or politicized, we’re reminding the world: our lived experience is leadership. Our insight drives strategy. Our voices build power.

VICTORY! After coming together, speaking out, and standing strong for each other and their patients, caregivers at Providence Hood River have officially formed their union with SEIU Local 49.
Women aren’t waiting to be included. We’re organizing, bargaining, leading, and rewriting the rules in real time.
From pay equity to workplace safety, women workers are demanding more and building power together to win it. 💪🏾💪🏽💪🏼

What may seem like a small act to some can leave a lasting impact on others. Travel can be stressful; adding an injury to the mix can add another level of complexity. SEIU 49 Member and Wheelchair Attendant Hadush Girmay went out of his way to help a traveler at PDX in need of a hand (er… foot?).
Members are Legacy Good Sam, Emanuel, Randall, and Unity are gearing up to bargain soon! Here we have Legacy Good Sam members filling out their bargaining surveys—ensuring their voice is heard!
VICTORY! Samaritan Lebanon workers in OR join SEIU, uniting 5 locations!

Gas is now $3.50 a gallon and instead of doing good we've got CEOs playing pretend on social media. Make it make sense.

WHEN WOMEN LEAD, WE ALL RISE.
As rights are threatened and workers are squeezed, women are building sustainable power.
We honor the trailblazers and we defend the rights they fought so hard to win. ✊🏾 ✊🏽 ✊🏼

Our communities are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink. That’s why we're showing up together again on March 28 to remind Trump there are NO KINGS in the USA. https://seiu.co/NoKings28
DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE
DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT LIVABLE WAGES
DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT THE HOUSING CRISIS
DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT ENDING HOMELESSNESS
DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT UNIVERSAL CHILD CARE
DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT UNIONS FOR ALL
DO NOT GET DISTRACTED.
The organizing power of Black workers during Reconstruction created a blueprint for civil rights & labor reforms that’s been carried forward for generations.
This #BlackHistoryMonth, we honor that legacy by confronting today’s attacks on diversity & continuing the fight for justice & worker power.

"...It’s immigrants that made this country great; let’s not allow those who claim the opposite to get their way." —Finn McCool, Senior Food Service Attendant at Providence St Vincent
"But this work doesn’t start or end at church breakfasts, it starts with us as a community standing together. Get to know your neighbors, join a Migra Watch, and speak out for our most vulnerable..."
Attendees heard from faith and labor leaders on what has been done, and needs to be done, in order to protect our immigrant communities from the policies of the current administration.
Our new Providence St. Vincent members represented SEIU 49 at the @jwjpdx.bsky.social’s annual Faith Labor Breakfast!
This year's theme was Standing Together with Our Immigrant Neighbors.
During #BlackHistoryMonth, we recognize leaders shaping history in the fights happening today.
SEIU’s first Black woman president, April Verrett, is leading the fight for justice by confronting inequality and attacks on our civil liberties head-on.
Today, @mnaflcio.org, union members, and other Minnesotans marched to call for an end to ICE in our communities, justice for Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, and investments to help workers and neighborhoods recover and rebuild. Minnesotans demand accountability now. #ICEOut
