It’d be suspicious in today’s climate. Finding 2 reviewers takes a month alone. Seems April has been an epic month for submissions too so only going to be worse for a while
I’ve been reading papers from the early 2000s for a manuscript we are putting together. Submitted September, returned to authors October, published online November. Of the same year!
