Unfortunately, we still have no news from the people in distress, their relatives or from local authorities. We also forwarded the alert to a local organization but we don't know if anyone has located them yet. We hope that they are somewhere safe.

🆘 2 people in urgent need of assistance near Gornja Nevlja, #Serbia. We were called by worried relatives of an unaccompanied minor of 16 years & an elderly person who are stuck in the forest & cannot continue walking. We informed the authorities & hope that help is on the way!

The #Turkish coastguard informed us that they rescued this group of 43 (instead of 45) people northeast of #Lesvos. We don't know whether this was another #pushback as we lost contact to the group. We hope they can recover quickly from this awful experience.

We were informed about their distress by a relative of someone on board but are unable to reach the group. We alerted @HCoastGuard and forwarded the last known location. Reportedly, their engine isn't working.
Rescue is needed now!
