You're totally right. Competitive fighters tend to have that thought, if you're enjoying it, and staying that high-tension for that long IS a lot.

For me, it's that it pours into casual play. Sometimes I can play for a while! ...Other times I want to die in my chair so I can escape. 😅

After my burnout away, I'm now happy to watch, talk, commentate (note to self: do this more), advise, attend, and celebrate...

But playing? My brain won't *allow* me that full joy.
