did you have the same problem-
as an extra, this is apparently a problem with AMD devices. Seems intel is safe
So I just discovered that After Effects can just...FORCE USE INTEGRATED GRAPHICS and not use your GPU for rendering.
After I disabled integrated graphics in my device manager...Adobe finally used my 4070ti and turned what was a 1 hr render...into a 4 MINUTE render.
