Well, to answer your question… I’m not entirely sure ^^; I just wanted to have Dawn’s OG team alongside her in the image to go along with her adult design. Kinda adds a bit more composition to the overall piece.
It’s not 100% my headcanon for the mons to be unevolved.

patience and understanding. I know I haven't been very reliable, especially when it comes to paid work, and I won't excuse my actions for not being able to stand by my commitments (especially after that unplanned hiatus).
Here's to 2026!
I manage to do all at once.
So, posts from me in 2026 will be finishing up commission, and then occasional posting of art that I just randomly decide to make (FanART, OC art, etc).
Again, and I know I've said this a lot, but I just wanted to thank you all for your continued
2025 until they're all finished. But, after that, I don't think I'll be able to take commissions again--at least not for a long while. With my new handful of responsibilities, I don't think I'll be able to manage work, taking care of family, and make what little scribbles
Gotta deal with the hand your delt lol It's not so bad though, as I do get along with my family. Spending these precious moments with them is more important than anything else.
All that being said, I'm going to get back to hitting the grind with the backlog of commissions from
"bringing home the bacon", the "breadwinner" of the house while learning the basics of being the "House-daughter" (daughter version of housewife). My hands are tied with a lot of responsibilities on my plate that I didn't ask for, but that's life xD
were originally given (Also, they've been going through their "second opinion treatment options", so that has been helping them a lot).
Since moving back home to help them, though... I've been slapped with the dub of their "Retirement Plan". In short, I'm the one
humility, compassion, and... just how short life can really be. You may think you're untouchable, but then, the next day, you can be hit with the news that you have less than a year to live. That family member was able to survive the holidays; thus, beating the expectancy they
commissioned me waiting for too long. But then... I was given the news about my family member's shortened life expectancy after their diagnosis.
So, while 2025 wasn't my best year... I also wasn't technically my worst. With everything going on with my family member, I learned
with Thanksgiving and the lead up to the December-Overtime, I didn't have the time to prepare as I would have liked.
I would have been able to accomplish my goals for Commissions early on like I wanted to, and that was the plan, since I didn't want to leave everyone who

First of all, I want to wish everyone a (Belated) Happy Holidays. Be it busy with work or school, or relaxing with winter break and being able to spend time with family, I hope you all were able to enjoy yourselves. But, most importantly... take care of yourselves.
Thank you all for your understanding and patience. I know the unplanned hiatus due to taking care of my dying loved one was very last minute, and (God Forbid) that happens again too soon.
That being said, I will be back to responding to messages and working on commissions as early as January.
I’ve been working 60 hours every week (6 days, 10 hours each day), and the only day off I have I’m just, honestly, laying in bed decompressing before starting all things should be back to normal after the Holidays end.
To put it simply, I was unprepared for the Holiday Overtime at work. For those unaware, I work a full time position for a job that, like many places of employment around the holiday season, receive A LOT of business. So, my hours this month have been chaotic.
First and foremost, I just want to apologize for the silence on all my platforms these past few weeks. Be it general activity/posting, or responding to messages.

However, it's better from a business standpoint to maintain that rapport with commissioners and clients, even when unforeseen circumstances comes up.

I do want to thank you all that have been understanding and patient at this time. I know this was last minute, and I do understand other commissioners' frustration at the sudden wait for their commissions. I can promise you that the hiatus wasn't it planned.
