I miss the times when YouTube videos where actually interesting

I'm not saying there aren't any interesting videos anymore but the algorithm just prefers shoving rage bait and click bait and general negativity to the point where I scroll for ages just for my timeline to look like this

The third of my #StreamINK2024 pieces. A combo of Moss, Cottage, Dinosaur, Cheese and Goose. Still pretty rough but I am trying to get out of my perfectionism habits.

I would assume that depends on the dub and the respective copyright holders, so there might be a few languages uploaded (perhaps on regional channels?) while other languages won't be
Either way I really hope there will be at least a few different dubs available ^.^

At least currently it feels like any and all content centered around drawing that I find is about min-maxing or how everyone needs to "stop doing [thing] now!!!" And I kinda wanna get back into the content bubble that was just making it a chill hobby that is actually fun to just do stuff with ;-;

As in no explanations or techniques, only small comments like "no clue what I did here but I fixed it later on", "looking back this scene reminds me of...", "i like the colours, so i tried to match them with...", random anecdote about something in the drawing, etc.

I don't know what words to use to make my YouTube search results understand that when I search for drawing videos I don't want tutorials, I want some random due or dudette to show a speedpaint while awkwardly rambling about the rough thoughts they had when drawing it or while seeing the footage

Scrolling through my gallery I found a photo from my first year in graphic design training where we had to "remake" a piece of fiction of our choice design-wise as if it was a theater performance and I spent 10+ hours on that fuqin headshot and 15+ hours on the Greenpath sketch

Worth it tho

It is quite reassuring to have such pawsome quality control
