“Superpower Suicide” is a concept to help understand the approach of the Trump regime to the rest of the world. We are fighting a war for no reason we can name, losing it, and covering our defeat with genocidal and apocalyptic propaganda.
Cops know darn well that if they arrest someone on frivolous charges that it will cost that person hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to deal with them. And that for all practical purposes that person will never be able to recover their legal costs. There's no SLAPP equivalent, unfortunately.
