The smaller map in Seas allowed most ports to both have more stories, and for them to be spread out and interconnected among them. Overall I think the writing was tighter in that game, especially among the final ambitions. The Salt's Song ending is the reason it's on the chart where it is

From the gameplay and visuals side Skies definitely surpasses it. Arriving in the Brabazon workworld for the first time to see the scale of the oppression the Reach is trying to escape from was incredible. However many of the ports feel very one-note and isolated
