An official NASA portrait of astronaut Sunita Williams wearing a full white Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) spacesuit. The bulky suit displays an American flag patch on the left shoulder, a mission patch on the right, and various controls on the chest pack; she holds the gold-visored helmet. With long dark hair framing her smiling face, she poses confidently in front of a large draped American flag against a cloudy Earth-toned backdrop, symbolizing American space exploration.

A color photograph of NASA astronaut Sunita Williams captured mid-stride running on a treadmill in zero gravity, secured by a white harness and bungee cords attached to her waist and shoulders. She wears a navy blue sleeveless top and shorts, athletic shoes, and gray socks, with her curly dark hair floating weightlessly. The busy ISS module around her features blue handrails, equipment racks, cables, monitors, and various floating items.

Makes me so mad that businesses passed the cost of tariffs onto the consumer, and theyre getting the refund while we get nothing. I really shouldn't be surprised, corporations are more people than people here.

mRNA vaccines continue to show major promise.

In a small Phase 1 trial led by Dr. Balachandran, some patients with pancreatic cancer (one of the deadliest cancers) reached 6-year survival.

This is why sustained investment in science & research matters.

Because we haven't had a big enough event to force that change. It's coming, it will be hard but we'll be better off for it.

But it also kind of feels like making the blanket statement that ALL politicians are corrupt feels like giving up on the hope that things can be different. Yes power draws shit people, but I have faith we can get to a point where we can turn it around. That there's enough good people trying. 2/

Idk like I understand the base complaint of "ah well all politicians are evil and corrupt" because there's way too many evil corrupt politicians and that's something worth complaining about. 1/

Personally, I live in a house that collects rain water and while like ig?? It's cool I don't have a water bill I hate that I have to be responsible for making sure my water is clean and safe to bathe in, and if we get a drought bad enough for long enough we'll just run out of water.

And before anyone starts, yes I DO hold my nose and vote for milquetoast liberals to avoid full republicans, but you cant call leftists spoiled brats for criticizing the cons/fasc options we do have and expect weak democrats to continue to nothingburger our way out of this

I dont understand the complaint of "well right now if you don't vote for the lesser of two evils you're giving full power to the greater evil"
"Sounds like the problem is being forced to vote strategically instead of voting for who you really want"
"No you're the problem just fall in line"

Does it have to specifically be hammers for your data set

Because I feel the threshold for gun is lower than hammers so that may skew the numbers

I love games, I think they hold great value as a hobby, and I'd argue the positives (fun) are talked about MUCH more than the drawbacks (addiction)

If you do any hobby to the point of ignoring outside life and responsibilities, it's a problem.
