But the most important thing is to NOT let your cats outdoors in the first place. And if you notice outdoor cats breeding, contact your local TNR organizations IMMEDIATELY. Feral cats are no longer adoptable after eight weeks old.

We discuss TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), which many wildlife advocates intensely dislike. But when done thoroughly, and targeted, it actually works. Multiple bird observatories and Audubon chapters have partnered with academics and TNR organizations to show this.

Cats are NOT native species. Ecologists consider them invasive species. And they are predators. Letting them outside is bad for their health and your health (look of toxoplasmosis - it's dangerous to unborn babies and adults).
