Over the last two weeks we showed up at #cop30 in Belem, Brazil.
From the lively gathering of thousands at the Peoples’ Summit, to the negotiating halls. There were both victories and setbacks.
COP30 may be finished, but our struggle for justice continues. 💚
European financial institutions, including Barclays, are providing 💷billions of pounds to corporations propping up Israel’s illegal occupation and settlements in Palestinian territory.
These banks are complicit in Israel’s war crimes against the Palestinian people.

What’s the point of a Labour government?
Countries like the UK that are blocking the proposal from developing countries on institutional arrangements for a #JustTranstition in the #UNFCCC must be reminded - THE WORLD IS WATCHING.
Disgusted by the behaviour of my government here at COP, in conjunction with their policies on migration at home. There’s no point of a Labour government; prove us wrong.
Journalists reporting on #COP30 (in-person or remotely) can now contact us to get a full list of Spokespersons (Includes grassroots voices, activists who follow negotiations closely, lawyers, climate scientists, indigenous peoples, workers among others) at COP30.
