What if people were just nice to each other?
This burning question brought to you by someone who has too many jobs and is somehow having to manage complicated people stuff in several of them all at the same time.
It's not even about all that *flails at the world in general*

If you're not busy tomorrow night you should definitely go to Motion Sickness.

Hand holding a red loveheart out lined in gold with some questions written on it - who was your first love? Cutest way you've met someone? Best duet ever? How would you heal a broken heart?
Had/got a broken heart?
Finding love after all might be the Dunedin Fringe show you're looking for...
On in 9 minutes or again tomorrow at 4pm at the Musos Club.
Tell me your answers to Ravi:s questions...

A collage of illustrated fire, a giant shark head enters left pursuing a tiny black clad cut out of the character Neo from the Matrix movie, that has a collage of a red panda head, and is exiting to the right, the tex "Downthime Activities D&D liveshow Fri 13 Sat 14 Sat 21 Gaasworks 6pm, Koha" is on a pice of paper that has been burnt at the edges and layered into the colllage, with two photograph cut outs of 20 sided dice, one is a 1 one is a 20
Downtime Activities: Dungeons and Dragons livegame on stage in Dunedin this Fringe Festival!! Koha show, free tea and coffee, relaxed performance :)
But also, arts also has all the social return on investment AND healthy economic return on investment! Every $1 spent returns $3.20 to the community.... We're just all too exhausted to mine the data and tell the story in eleventy million ways so funders GET it.
This round feels especially precarious. I have 3 to do but only two of today's lot are cnz. 🫠
Mmmm I think so too.
Maybe I should be a political party fundraiser instead of an arts fundraiser.
Today, I'm writing two funding applications for one organisation, three for another one and one for another one.
That's too many.
And doesn't include the complex (unnecessary? 🤔) follow-up information requested by another funder by tomorrow 🙄
Spots are still available for people with Long Covid/MECFS in Ōtepoti Dunedin to participate in free facilitated creative writing workshops. I'm one of the facilitators. There's no commitment—if you think you might be interested, get in touch.
😘
Lol thank you! We can still be friends.
I'm in!
Can someone give me a summary reminder of the Scottish Play? I'm going to ballet this weekend and don't love reading Shakespeare 😱
I guess I just found delight in the way the creator made a cute woodworking video out of lego and stop motion. It was more about the journey than the destination for me ☺️
Because it's a fun, pretty clever process video?
This is delightful.
I can write funding applications and cook whatever is in the fridge/garden if that's helpful?
I've begun a starter pack of Aotearoa writers to help others find the crowd on bsky. I know I've missed plenty, so comment below if you want to be added (or removed).

Room made of leaves
Right?! A size should be a size should be a size. I feel even more strongly about shoe sizes!
I bought jeans in the same brand in the same size from the same online shop the other day and couldn't even get the zip done up let alone the button.
This is the only type of content I need today.
This is a CAT checkpoint. Show me the most recent cat image on your phone.
Glare! It's good for them to have a few people glare at them! It seems to be making a little bit of difference at the DCC meetings lately.
Hey, Welly friends, did you know NZ Fringe has a mini lit festival this weekend? Tadra Vata have five sessions centred around art through an indigenous lens. I'll be going to the Sat eve sesh, though I'd love to go to all — damn my packed schedule! #NZBooks

Ōtepoti Dunedin kikorangi bluesky folk: does anyone already have a (what do we call them here) feed or list of local folk who share about upcoming local events (for example)?
