TIME FOR RELIEF AT THE PUMPS: ALBERTA NDP CALLS ON GOVERNMENT TO SUSPEND THE PROVINCIAL GAS TAX The Alberta NDP is calling on the provincial government to remove the provincial gas tax, which would immediately lower fuel prices at the pump.

“Albertans feel every cent when they fill up,” said @naheednenshi.bsky.social

“Families and business owners are doing the math at the pump and wondering what they’re going to cut next. Dropping the provincial gas tax is one clear, practical way the government can help today.”

Albertans need relief at the pumps. It's why we're calling on the government to remove the provincial gas tax.

That’s 13 cents per litre, or $300+ a year for the average family.

This simple measure would provide relief for businesses, in agriculture, truckers, and anyone who commutes by car.

An independent commission did its job and delivered fair electoral maps.

But Danielle Smith and the UCP want to ignore them and redraw the map.

They think they need to cheat to win.

The government should accept those maps, without question.
