There are two checkpoints coming out of the valley, also some up near eagle pass and whatnot. Either north of Edinburg where you were, or north of Raymondville to the east.

They better be careful, Jews remember their kind.

Once I rolled up to the checkpoint alone on a bicycle going from Las Milpas to corpus christi to visit friends, they were so confused about what was happening the best line they could give me was "uhh is that your bike?"

Gross, Falfurria's checkpoint has always been a shithole. Hidalgo county has its good and bad sides as well but the police federal/state/local/sheriff are actively hostile to the citizens on the best days.

He's been real active, hasn't been doing much since the 10th.

Funny enough, I had someone try to vish my boss as Troy_Hunt@<company.com> with the IT department. That bastard tried to scam our entire senior leadership team.

Including the head of the cyber security team?

I've been thinking of a few over the years, the current place shares a lobby with a laundromat. They understand brown people spicy.

Try: Haz comida como tu abuela. *Goofy grin if butchered*
It's: Make food like your grandmother.

Too many people know what's going on already. These people are monsters.

Remember how bullies and rapists react when you fight back. That's been the US for quite a while now. Resisting forces hit one, we hit 5, they hit 5, we hit 50...

Just reading this post hurts so bad.

I'm worried about people remembering how the masters tools can be used on the master themselves. That never leads anywhere good afterwards in history.

These people have no idea how bad they fucked up yet and I hope they stop themselves before a tragedy results.

Observations Observations by rjmendez

Beware of the human debris if you want samples. Some weird shaped "animal skins" tend to get left out there by the local teenagers.

There's a ton of salty mummies, let me get an inat link. The big stuff got eaten by coyotes but it's so much nicer than the towns.

Tip for border patrol, wear hiviz and get a hardhat for your car. They ignore you if you tell them all about shrimp or beetles. Be as annoying as possible and try to act Caucasian.

One of my favorite places is Sal Del Rey, it's a salty lake with really cool and unique wildlife. Here's one of my favorite lil guys.

Yo, not trying to dox you or anything but what part of South Texas? I'm from the McAllen area and there are some beautiful nature preserves and even Texas gators nearby! DM me if you want some good places to eat or visit!

Want a game camera? I can ship to like a storefront or something.

I helped my neighbor pick the locks on cameras that poachers put up in his yard. So they're "gifts" as he calls them.

One of ours does this with snow and rain. She runs, rolls, and plays in it then demands we towel her off. Until we do she will stand in place and act grumpy.

In Jamaica, WCK partner Mystic Thai prepared meals ahead of Hurricane Melissa’s arrival. Plates of chicken curry were served to families sheltering from the storm. With our local partners, we’re ready to begin serving more meals as soon as it’s safe after Melissa’s landfall. #ChefsForJamaica

I've been doing something similar with milkweed and cat litter. I'm planning on flinging them around outside or even loading up a drone to drop them.
