Well, the act of taking notes sometimes helps lock in the lesson.

There isn't a lot of downside. I'd say go for it!

Actually, this seems like a nice manageable project. If you have the projector as long as you need, you can trace it at your own pace.

Oh no! It's a shame that every location and power company have different rules and red tape.

Sorry, I meant the space food sticks. We had Tang, too.

I managed to get my mother to buy me a box of them. They were ok - kind of like a low density taffy. Who knows what was in them...

Happy Trans Day of Visibility! The world needs to be reminded that trans people are really just regular people.

I have also found that exercise helps improve my mood. Best of luck on your goal!

Yep, important to test that. What percentage of your battery do you plan to keep in reserve for grid failures? (I reserve 20%)

Nice - we only have 16x 395 watt solar panels. We may expand someday - what we have isn't enough to last completely through the night. We just added two Enphase IQ Battery 10C units. They are fairly well matched to our panels at 20 kWh total.

Congrats! Just two weeks ago we added batteries to our previously PV only solar install. We went with Enphase. Be sure to give it a couple weeks shakedown to find any issues.

Maybe they are thinking: "In the cyber surveillance state, the record of my opposition to furryness will spare me from the fascist overlords when they come for the furries."

My fav Pi is to write 1 1 3 3 5 5 , then put a long division sign over the 355. Surprisingly accurate.

I just read that Snap E Tiger @bycats4cats.bsky.social passed away last night due to a heart attack.

He was one of the original suiters / makers I met in the fandom long ago, the pic is from 2001 MFF of his velcro tiger suit.

You'll be missed, my friend.

Healthcare is solid income if you have the stomach for it. You have to deal with a lot of eccentric people.

That sounds like a good choice. My wife and sons have all been in therapy. It's much better than most of the alternatives.

Oh - ok! I misunderstood and thought you were considering a Monster as a treat. A nice steak sounds fine.

Deciding whether to "treat" yourself is a tough call. Have you already made a hard agreement with yourself to get such a treat or would you get more personal feeling of reward by continuing to go cold turkey? I guess ask yourself which fits better with the way your mind works.

Good Luck. That sounds hard.

We all have to fight such thoughts on occasion. If you believe them, they can become self-fulfilling. If you push past, well then you can go on to the next adventure!

Another good one. I did feel the solution was a bit obvious, but I guess that just shows how much Starfleet has forgotten about Klingon culture.

Yes, so far it seems promising.

I'll see if I can track down the easiest way to rewatch The Original Series (abbreviated TOS)
