Yeah, the only issue is that I also use Audition to do post-processing. I have a whole effects chain perfectly tuned to get the sound I want. My only option now is to record the raw voice in Audacity, then completely unplug my audio interface, reboot windows, and then process it in Audition.

I'm so tired of Adobe... Something always breaks after every update. This time it's Audition. There's some kind of bug or compatibility issue with my USB audio interface, which is what my XLR mic plugs into. So I can't record my voice until this gets fixed.

Time to try out Audacity I guess...

Also, I can tell that your intentions are good. As someone who's Dutch, I am appalled by what my forefathers did to indiginous people around the world. But I can't change that. I like to focus on the present. And joining the US (under Trump) would be an absolute disaster for Greenland :(

True. But generally speaking, they are much more likely to reach their goal of idependance with Denmark, which has gruadually granted more and more autonomy to Greenland over the years. First in 1979, and then more in 2009. If the US aquires the island, that future is all but gone. Maybe for good...

I agree with you. But this has been known for years, and the Danes have since taken full responsibility. The Greenlanders are looking to the future, and under Denmark they have a real opportunity at independance. Unlike the US, who will likely turn the whole island into a giant military base/mine.

Unless pointing out that you're wrong is patronizing, that is not my intention. Your opinions on this matter are just a meaningless as mine (or any non-native). And yes, the majority favors Denmark over the US. It only involves 57k people, so it's not exactly hard to conduct accurate opinion polls.

Your perspective does not matter. Only what the Greenlanders want. And they've been crystal clear: They still favor Denmark over the US, despite past wrongdoings. Their ultimate goal is independance, not to trade one colonizer for a new one. Denmark is helping them achieve that goal. The US won't.

Looks like the AI slop virus is increasingly trying to infect the Zelda youtube space. More and more often do I come across channels with stolen thumbnails and lazily generated scripts.

I just rolled credits on Age of Imprisonment. Really solid game! The cinematics and storytelling are incredibly well done, and I'm very excited to make videos about it ^^

Aah I see, haha. I thought it may have something to do with the movie or something, or a genuine leak. I personally think the odds are pretty low, since OoT already received an overhaul on the 3DS. Like you said, we have yet to see a WW and TP HD port, let alone an entire remake of OoT ^^

I'm curious why people keep bringing up an Ocarina of Time remake for Switch 2. I've seen zero evidence that such a project is in the works. No official annoucements or leaks. Just fan requests and baseless rumors. Yet, it's being presented as some sort of inivitable fact. Did I miss something? 🤔

Another day, another trip to the animal hospital. Luckily the wound on Dino's paw is healing well. No infections or other complications. He's a trooper ^^

Anyway, here's a blood moon 🌕

The surgery went well. Dino received a synthetic ligament to stablize his paw. He should make a full recovery in about 12 weeks. 6 weeks of rest + 6 weeks to rehabilitate. He is stoned off his *ss from the medication though, and needs a lot of aftercare. But at least he will be able to run again.

My dog is in surgery right now 😥...
He tore a ligament in his paw while playing, and hasn't been able to walk properly ever since. The vet says he'll be good as new after the surgery (and a few weeks of rest), but I can't help but feel sad and worried...

I love that this game features segments where you just walk around and take in the environment. It's unconventional for a Warriors title, and I'm here for it!

So hyped for Age of Imprisonment! It'll probably the last story in the Era of the Wild Hyrule, and a promising finale!

Kinda depends on the release date, doesn't it? If it comes out in november or later it won't be eligable for this year.

I also have a hunch that Expedition 33 is gonna take it. If only because it was such an unexpected banger made by a relatively small (indie) studio.

I just finished both BS Zelda and Ancient Stone Tablets. The only (official) Zelda games I never played before.

While a little short, they are lots of fun, and play and feel like legit entries! Makes me wish I could have participated in the actual live event back in the day ^^
