We still live from boxes, but already feel the positive vibes of the new place! It's much sunnier than the previous one & warmer! Rooms are slowly taking shape, the kitchen is done already. Ah we needed this so much, I cannot wait to set up an embroidery corner to myself & start on new projects! 🤗💖

I know, but when citizens are getting comfortable with one goverment & they seize that power, abuse it to max while majority of the same nation shrugs it off (and the whole world looks at us with contempt) you feel kind of ashamed you know? I hope we can change that soon & be a proper part of EU.

But yeah that 'shower' was for 5ppl, they didn't clean it (obviously) so I asked my mom to bring wetwipes bc I couldn't step into that hellhole.

I could tell you sooo many horror stories about the hungarian healthcare/bureaucracy it is baffling to me that many ppl still defend it.

I hope so too, tho they are really trying to sabotage voting from abroad (as always) + I've been following the interviews they make in small villages where the only source of info if the govt. media & they are literally parroting back all the lies to the reporters.. 😮‍💨
Still I believe we can do it!

The next election is in a month & we've never been this close to replace these disgusting oligarchs. I am so proud that in the past 2 years hungarians let their voices heard, had the biggest pride despite 'the ban' & on our national day, they've filled Hero's square to the brim, showing courage. 🇭🇺❤️‍🔥

But change is coming, ppl (specially the youth) are fed up with the constant lies, the infamous blue posters with hateful messages, the politicians private estates with african animals on them 'disguised' as farms etc. Here let me show you how hospitals looked when I had a gallstone in 2016.

Ngl for the longest time I've been trying to hide/not talk about my nationality, bc as you know Hungary is the most corrupt country in the EU for more than a decade now. The current govt. is in power for 16 years seething hate, fear mongering with war & have stolen everything they could.

We officially moved!
The moving company didn't take all our stuff due to their list error so we had to bring the rest on foot + had to tidy the old place for the new tenants & cleaned all weekend.
This is no joke every fiber of my being aches & we didn't even have time to unbox in the new place. 🫠😮‍💨

Since not much to do among all these boxes, instead of doomscrolling we're watching "Games without borders" in the evenings. It is a 90's european gameshow where athletic youth competed in really fun challeneges, we used to watch it with the whole family & I'd love if they'd revive this again!
